Our weekly updates have said the same thing (no new news) for way, way too long.  Todd & I have discussed how God remains the center in all of this and no matter what, we will follow where He leads.  Found this quote and it just fits:

Sweet "T's" Birthday!

Our sweet "T" celebrated another birthday yesterday!  We truly thank our Heavenly Father for her life and, even though we wish with everything in us that she was home!, we celebrate her afar.  I was so excited to think about her special day and how she is feeling about her birthday.  Guessing in an orphanage that it's not a huge deal, but I really don't know.  So...we decided to do it up!!  We celebrated as Klaasen's do best....with ice cream cake!

We love you so much sweet "T"!  Praying, praying that this is the last birthday you ever have without your family!

 

ONE

ONE year ago today we were matched with 2 beautiful Ethiopia girls.  ONE year.  Never dreamed we would be blessed to this extent and be matched to be the parents of these two girls!  How God has worked in our hearts and lives during this past year amazes us.  Not gonna pretend this wait time isn't ONE of the most difficult things I've ever had to do, because it is.  The thought of them not being home yet brings me to tears.  I know my God has a great plan here and can't wait to see how He works this!  I also have faith that THE ONE true God I serve, can move mountains!!
